Brin has more than 36 years of combined experience investing in, developing, and trading short-term, quantitative strategies. Our experience has taught us to focus on our highest conviction strategies and to design our models, so they evolve and have synergy with each other.
Use a Multi-Strategy Approach
Unfortunately, no single trading strategy works well in every environment. In fact, strategies go in and out of favor as certain biases become more or less pronounced. This pattern presents a challenge to any single strategy approach. We have designed our strategies to complement each other’s weaknesses with the goal of improving return consistency and reducing the frequency of prolonged drawdowns.
